Interesting point, but I'd like to point out that the Na'vi do have genitals and sex for reproduction is similar to humans. Tsahaylu (the bond using the queue) is completely different - you're at least right in the part about choosing to have mutual pleasure from it - in many ways, tsahaylu is more like connecting two minds, allowing each to experience the other's thoughts, feelings, emotions and memories. I'm sure that making tsahaylu with anything would be difficult if one was unwilling (I guess you might say when Jake bonds with the Ikran as an example there, but in my opinion this is just because the Ikran accept when they have been bested - after all, they wouldn't want to bond with just anyone, they would want someone who they had a proper bond with)

This seems to neglect the fact that there is a fairly obvious sex scene in the movie that depicts intercourse in the classic lotus position. Granted, we never actually see blue genitalia, but Cameron and his team probably decided to leave the matter strategically ambiguous. The audience is not given any reason to believe the Navi lack genitalia. (There's a reason why they all wear loincloths.) Anyway, this is the sort of question that really only matters to bored Navi nerds. Why not just file it under Who Cares? It's just a story.

You could also add in something about theory of mind- we are best at accepting and using data about our own kind, giving the link between adults the greatest potential for intimacy
