Treder tinkers with a Pew chart with some pretty cool results:

I think his guesses are pretty spot on, both in terms of where we’ll be technologically (I hope) and people’s opinions. If this is what the world looks like when I’m 40, I’m pretty psyched. Now where’s my jetpack?

    6.7 on Pitchfork. Not bad. I’m guessing they got at least 1.4 points for being from Scotland and another 2.3 for using a whole sentence to name their band.

    I am disappointed that Mr. Treder doesn’t give ubiquitous intrusive surveillance and disappearance of privacy more orange. If this is what the world looks like when I’m 40, I’m going underground.
